Welcome

A life shaped by education, agriculture and rural roots

My professional life has been closely associated with agriculture and rural development. Over more than five decades, I have had the opportunity to work in universities, research institutions and international agricultural settings.

My journey began in the village of Teghari in Nadia, West Bengal. The memories, values and experiences of village life remain an important part of my identity.
